Thanks to everybody who stopped by to see us in London last month. We had one of our best shows ever, with a packed out stand at ExCel all weekend.
It was amazing to meet so many customers who came over just to introduce themselves and to thank us for our service and products.
If you didn’t have time to get a quote at the show and you need some help, just give us a call on 01782 832555. We have a team of highly trained specialists in bespoke staircase design who will be happy to help you out over the phone, and can provide any information or images that you may need.
Following the success of our ClearCut staircase, which launched last year, our team of in-house talented designers have created a brand new StairBox exclusive design. The new SteelCut staircase is an evolution of the ClearCut design, with the addition of steel strings.
Like the ClearCut stair, SteelCut is ostensibly a cut string staircase that is designed to show off the best of glass and wood (usually oak). A cut string staircase is one in which the string is cut to follow the treads and risers. With SteelCut stairs, powder coated steel strings draw clean geometric lines against the stringer, adding an attractive architectural element to the design.
Additionally, with SteelCut stairs we also have glass that is cut to perfectly follow the tread and riser. This additional framing gives a brilliant effect highlighting how the glass sits just off the staircase itself using brushed steel clamps.
If your hallway is narrow with few openings, or your staircase is part of an open-plan living space, using glass panels allows light to shine through and provides a bright and contemporary feel when combined with oak.
We love innovating and bringing something new to the shows each year and the feedback on SteelCut has been fantastic.
Earlier this year, we also launched a new spindle design – Oak Twist Spindles. This has been really popular with customers looking for a new twist on a simple style.
Feedback from customers has been really interesting – some choose the spindles because the design is more modern and cutting edge, and others like the traditional woodwork and craftsmanship of them.
And it doesn’t stop there, we will also be in Harrogate 4 – 6 November and in Somerset at the Bath & West Showground 19 – 20 November.
We’d love it if you could come along to see us. Whether you’re just looking for some advice or need a full quote, our friendly team of expert designers will ensure that you have exactly what you need.News
