Pine Cheshire Pattern Baserail available with either:
41mm groove for 41mm spindles
32mm groove for 32mm spindles
Available in the following lengths:
All of our rails come wrapped along with the appropriate size infill (32mm or 41mm wide depending on your spindle / groove size). Infill is supplied in lengths of approximately 1m, these can be cut to suit your spindle spacing on site.
Our baserail can either be used on the top of your staircase as a string capping, or along flat landing areas. Baserail is usually screwed down through the spindle groove using ordinary wood screws which become covered by the spindles / infill.
Baserails can be used between 2 newel posts, or they can be cut at 45 degrees to form a 90 degree mitre for example to return a landing balustrade the same way as you would mitre a handrail.
Our pine rails look great with pine newel posts and pine spindles.
Our pine stair parts come pre-sanded, unfinished. They can be finished by painting, waxing or varnishing.
Brilliant service from start to finish which is rare today.
Stairs as described and measurements all correct. Pleasant people to deal with.
Great online tool to design your staircase, well organized delivery, very helpful driver, and lots of documentation and instructions. It's not the first staircase I bought here, and it won't be the last. Thank you!
